Ukraine is a country in Eastern Europe characterized by vast fertile plains, forested regions, river systems including the Dnieper River, and the Carpathian Mountains in the west.

It is bordered by Belarus to the north, Russia to the east and northeast, Poland, Slovakia, and Hungary to the west, and Romania and Moldova to the southwest, with coastlines along the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov to the south.
Ukraineโs landscape is largely made up of fertile plains and steppe, making it one of the worldโs major agricultural regions. The country also includes mountain areas such as the Carpathians in the west and the Crimean Mountains in the south. What is an ISO Country Code?
ISO country codes come from the international standard ISO 3166 created by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).
