Guinea is a country in West Africa characterized by coastal plains along the Atlantic Ocean, forested highlands including the Fouta Djallon plateau, and river systems that form the sources of major West African rivers.

๐Ÿ“ Guinea is a country located in West Africa, positioned along the Atlantic coast and forming part of the regionโ€™s diverse geographic zone. It is bordered by Guinea-Bissau and Senegal to the northwest, Mali to the northeast, Ivory Coast to the southeast, and Liberia and Sierra Leone to the south, with a coastline along the Atlantic Ocean to the west.
Guineaโ€™s landscape is varied, featuring coastal plains, mountainous regions such as the Fouta Djallon highlands, and forested areas in the southeast. What is an ISO Country Code?

ISO country codes come from the international standard ISO 3166 created by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). These codes are used globally in databases, aviation systems, banking, shipping, and international data systems to uniquely identify countries and territories.

ISO 3166-1 codes are the two-letter country codes such as US, FR, or JP. These are called Level-1 ISO codes.

Only ISO 3166-1 codes support flag emojis. Flag emojis are created by combining two Unicode regional indicator letters that match the country's ISO two-letter code.

ISO 3166-2 codes represent states, provinces, or regions. Example: US-AZ = Arizona CA-ON = Ontario Subdivision codes do not have flag emojis.
